About Us

LUX Specialty Tapes specializes in commercial and industrial double coated tapes.  Our office is located in city of Rancho Cucamonga,California with over 650,000 square feet manufacturing facility located in China.   Our production facility is well-equipped with 15 adhesive tape production lines, 6 adhesive-making reactors and a Brückner BOPP film production line.

LUX Specialty Tapes offers tapes for standard industrial application, like laminating, kiss-cut, die-cut, mounting and bonding, as well as specialty tapes for specific industrial applications, such as glazing tapes for window glazing industry, nail file tapes for beauty supply industry and differential coated tapes for glass shipping industry and more.

Our Tape Carriers

TISSUE

Tissue is a pliable carrier which fits the bonding surface contour, which provides conform-ability and stability for mounting lightly uneven substrate, as well as laminating cork, paper, plastic, and textiles. Tissue carrier is also hand-tear able.

PET


PET is a transparent and enhanced film carrier.  Usually clean removal after use.  It provides dimensional stability, where the additional strength is desired.  It is famous for bonding, laminating, and die cutting applications.

PVC

PVC carrier is well known for very good electrical insulation, and temperature resistance by its nature, so it is recommended in wide variety of applications.  Generally speaking, PVC is NOT hand-tear able; our PVC is hand-tear able, makes it much easy to apply in critical situation.

Solvent Acrylic Adhesive

GENERAL

Solvent-based acrylic adhesives provide a selection of cross-linking mechanisms, which enhanced resistance to chemicals and other solvents.  Solvent acrylic adhesives offer a wider latitude when it comes to customization, with chemists able to mix and match positive characteristics with minimal sacrificing of performance aspects.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

Solvent acrylic adhesives can be formulated to offer extraordinary chemical resistance, making them well-suited for use in environments where such exposure is a possibility. In addition, many solvent adhesives can withstand a range of temperature extremes, which some of our models can withstand from -40℉ to 356℉.

SPECIALTIES

While some of our modified solvent acrylic adhesive can reach as high as 126oz/inch in peel adhesion, we also carry some interesting models called Hi/Lo (High|Low), which is a differeciate adhesive on each side of the tape carrier; usually one side offers permanent adhesive, the other side coated on removable adhesive for special applications.
